HHS Senior Represents HOSA in Washington, DC

Larshayvia is a senior Hattiesburg High School and the State Post-Secondary President of Mississippi’s HOSA (Future Health Professionals).

During the visit, Larshayvia addressed the concerns of Mississippians in rural areas not being afforded adequate healthcare due to the lack of providers. She suggested ways that the over 4,000 members of MS HOSA could be a part of the solution to the perils of healthcare in Mississippi. Larshayvia's presentation was so effective that it has led to future endeavors for HOSA.

We’re so proud of you Larshayvia! Thanks for representing your school, city and state so well!

Special thanks to Instructor/Nurse Mimi Wilson for her leadership of the Hattiesburg High School Health Science program!
